“Liqa’ul Khaleel shifa’ul ‘aleel”
“Meeting a true friend is healing for the sick.”
This phrase gives us the message that:
A person does not suffer only from physical illness, but also from the exhaustion of the heart and mind.
In such times, a sincere friend’s meeting, their words, their empathy and love bring peace to the heart, lessen sorrow, and create hope.
Have you ever noticed?
When the heart is broken, eyes are tearful, and life begins to feel like a burden—
At such times, no medicine works instantly.
But if a true friend knocks on the door, sits silently beside you, and just says: “I’m here, aren’t I?”
Then the heart feels as if it starts living again.
That smile of a friend,
That comfort, that sincerity—
It feels as if someone has gathered a scattered soul.
Illness is not only of the body;
Sometimes a person breaks from within too,
And there, medicine doesn’t help— a friend does.
Remember:
A friend who stands by you in every situation
Is a special blessing from Allah.
One meeting, one word, one touch from them— truly becomes healing for a sick heart.
Give time to your friends.
Perhaps one meeting from you might brighten someone’s life.
A friend is truly a mercy from Allah who lifts a person from people and connects them to Allah.
Choose friends who bring you closer to Allah,
Because that is the friendship that lasts forever—
In this world, and in the Hereafter too.
